How difficult is it...

... to get into a table service restaurant without reservations in late November? We generally do not like to plan a lot in advance, just in case something unexpected (either good or bad) happens. So I am really hesitant to make a reservation for a table service restaurant.

Living in Florida, we are most familiar with Walt Disney World, and while there is a general recommendation to make reservations for WDW as soon as the booking window opens, we have never made any reservations and have still be able to eat at most of the table service restaurants including Le Cellier and Cinderella's Royal Table. Is it similar at DLP??

Thanks!!

Whenever I have gone in November I have just made reservations on the day either in the hotel or at City Hall. Bear in mind not all restaurants will be open as its not peak season.

^^ Agree with this, unless you want to do a character meal - it might be worth pre-booking those.

Also, unlike WDW, when you make a reservation in DLP you don't have to provide credit card details or anything, and it's quite easy to change your bookings once you've made it. SO you COULD do a rough plan for the week, make reservations (and this will help you work out when things are and are not open), and then change them via City Hall / concierge at your hotel (if you're staying on site) each day as and when!

I think that's a great idea. I booked a couple yesterday for October, and was surprised that Walts was only open for lunch bookings Mon - Fri whilst we are there. I managed to work this into plan, and it's ok - but I'd have been really upset if we got there and thought we'd be able to walk in only to find it closed.
