How difficult is it to get Vero Beach at 7 month window in summer?

Just looking over some options and was wondering if Vero is a busy place in the summer. Once the kids are older, hate to take them out of school. Do many DVCer's go to Vero in the summer?

Look at your points chart. The summer at Vero Beach is off peak. It's easier to get the summer than to get February, March, or April.

I think that summer probably is easier than the prime winter season but the Vero point chart can be misleading. The seasons for DVC have stayed the same but Disney's cash rentals now include a "summer" season between Value and Regular pricing. I think people like to combine Vero and WDW on summer vacation even though Vero has not traditionally been a summer resort.

I have added days on with the 7 month window at Vero. This was for a 2-bedroome unit.

Latter on I tried to days on for a studio or in room. Filled for the summer. This has happened two years in a row. Summer is harder to get at Vero than WDW.

Both of my visits to Vero were booked at the 7 month window. One trip in July and one in August. We stayed in a one bedroom and a two bedroom and friends of ours booked an Inn room. Based on that experience, I think you will be fine.

Just booked a 2 bedroom for nov in the 7 month window..Just curious, but do the 2 bedroom villas have an ocean view..can you request an ocean view for a 2bdr.

Not all villas have an oceanview. You also need to be above the first floor to have any chance of an oceanview because of the sand dune in front of the resort. You can make oceanview a request but it's not guaranteed.

We booked Labor Day week with about 2 months notice last year for an ocean view inn room with no problem.
