How did your tweens like their Christmas presents?

My 12 yo DD loved her snood and rainbow loom bands! We got her 2,400 bands lol

I feel like I mostly got DD12 Disney-themed clothes! But she likes them. She also really wanted the Hot Huez for her hair but hasn't touched them yet. She also likes the Q&A a Day Journal so far- I got the kids version. Oh, and her Build A Bear Tiger arrived today (I just wrapped a printout) and we will stuff it tomorrow. She loves her BABs.

Be careful with the hot hues because my DD got it from her Aunt and it come off onto her clothes. I thought her grey hoodie was ruined but I used oxyclean and it came out. But every piece of clothing has the color come off on it.

Okay...I will have her just do strands on top so it won't be close to her clothing and have her wear something that doesn't matter much when we test it out. Thanks!

My 13-yo ds liked all of his stuff. He got a PS3 and two games, a World Cup 2014 soccer ball, Addidas hoodie, headphones and a charger with 10-foot cord for his ipod. MIL got him several things he asked for (don't remember what they were now) and a set of snap circuit things. He really likes those! It was just something she came across and decided to get.

DD9 already has a gazillion rainbow loom bands, so she just got a multipack of glow in the dark ones in her stocking, but she loved her Iphone (before anyone blasts us, we were not going to get her one at ALL since she is only 9 1/2, but DH came across a coworker who was getting a new phone and was going to just give us the old one. DH offered $30 for it. I think its a Iphone 3? at any rate, there is no service on it, she can only use the home wi-fi until 6th grade). She also loved her Lego Friends sets, new clothes, art supplies, and new books I loaded for her on the Kindle.

DS13 got a new headset for his x-box, a University of Michigan football jersey #62 that has been his # since he started playing football in 3rd grade and our last name on the back, some clothes from American Eagle and Hollister, etc, a couple xbox games, and his favorite gift of all - a bean bag chair. We all love it and fight to sit in it. LOL I think I see a few more in our future for the rest of us!

Not really quite a "tween" yet, but DS7 1/2 loved his nerf guns, UM jersey with *his* #9 and last name, UM football helmet, and his most favorite thing of all? His Tom Brady (Patriots) "puffy hat" - the hat Tom Brady wears on the sidelines during cold games. He LOVED that thing and specifically said it was all he wanted for Christmas. And he got it!!

My 11 year old DD loved her bow and arrow and Kindle Fire HDX!! She also enjoyed her Rainbow Looms and many Disney Infinity characters she got.

My ds12 and dd10 both love their iPods. Eventually I'm guessing they'll get around to the rest of their stuff. The only thing that was a dud was this twister swing thing you jump over that dd got. Ds really likes his marshmallow shooter and nerf gun.

My DD10 loved the Lego Dolphin Cruiser and her Nintendo 3DS XL and the two games that she got with them.

She has not bothered with the Rainbow Loom at all. She opened the box but really didn't go any further with it. This was a surprise since she is really crafty and loves making all sorts of stuff on her own. She love origami and makes 3D things out of paper all the time but hasn't shown any interest in making jewelry or just playing around with the Rainbow Loom thing.

She loved, loved, LOVED the Zebra slippers, blanket and bedsheets that Grandma got her!

DD loved her new desk and bedspread. I painted her room a couple of days after Christmas and she is very happy with it even though she wasn't excited about the color (light grey) at first.

When we moved in the house she was 6 and very into Hannah Montanna so we painted the room purple and lavender with light blue trim to match her bedspread at the time. The bedspread has been long gone but the horrible colors remained. We are all happy to have them gone now!

She also got a rainbow loom magazine in her stocking with patterns and stuff and she is really enjoying that. She also loves the northface jacket she got.

DS13 loved his PS4. He went crazy. He loves playing online with his friends but most of his friends didn't get PS4's so he still plays with his PS3 frequently.

DD7 is in heaven with her Ipad mini and her rainbow looms. HUGE hits in our house!

The older they get the more scarce the tree looks but it costs more!
