I'm considering 1900 PF for our next trip. I'm open to breakfast (with Mary P. and Co.) or dinner (with Cinderella and Co.).

I'm sure that our younger DD#2, who will be 5 at the time will love either character group, but DH questioned whether our DD#1, who will be 9 at the time will like it.

DD#1 didn't seem very into the princess meal in January, 2008, at Akershus. She was disappointed that we weren't eating in the castle again, but I didn't get the impression that it was a factor of the princesses. And she has expressed interest in seeing GF.

So, how did your 8-10 DD enjoy 1900 PF?

ETA: I am tempted to book breakfast because I'd love to see MP and Co.! Who cares what DDs' want! LOL!

We have been to both of these meals. I purposely chose the Cinderella dinner for our 14 mo. old granddaughter because we also have a 15 y/o son and I thought that with the stepsisters it probably wouldn't be as "princessey" as the other princess meals.

I was right. We all loved the dinner there. First of all, the food was very good and service was excellent. The characters were a hoot. The stepsisters really seem to spend a lot of time with the older kids and boys (kidding around and actually making sarcastic remarks about Cinderella and the Prince which the boys just seem to love).

The breakfast is lovely, too. Our son even enjoys this meal because the Mad Hatter is a riot. We actually saw him in the MK later that same day and he remembered our son and continued to "harass" him. The food and service at this one are excellent as well.

I think both of these are a very good alternative to the princess meals. You still have girly characters without the "babyish" tone. I can't wait to go back to both of them!

Two years ago we took DD's 5mo, 7, 8, and 9 to the breakfast. DD 7 is a die hard MP fan. All of them loved Alice and the Mad Hatter. DD 5mo. really got into Winnie the Pooh and friends. All depends on who your kids want to see.

This is great info. It sounds like either meal at 1900 PF would work for DD#1. After seeing those pics on another thread of dinner with Cinderella, PC, the stepmother and stepdaughter, it looks like fun.

Thanks!

We ate at 1900 PF in November 2007 when my DD was 10. She enjoyed it. I don't think it was her favorite meal but she did fall in love with GF and decided right then and there that she was going to get married there!:lmao: The characters were great especially the step sisters! We were looking forward to Cinderella and Prince Charming but the step sisters took over the show in my opinion. The food is good not great. Would go back but not on our next trip.

I hope that helps.

We did both in the same day LOL. I love both! I personally like breakfast best but only because of the food. I could eat Mickey waffles for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. LOL. But really the dinner is amazing. The stepmother and stepsisters are HILARIOUS!! The Prince and Cinderella dance and then dance with the kids. Its wonderful! My children are younger still but I loved it! haha.

We've done both...my girls are now 8 & 12 so the last time we went they were a year younger. Both of them loved the Cinderella dinner....the then 8 yr old was over the top with meeting Prince Charming. The 11 year old loved meeting the step sisters....

Breakfast with MP & friends is fun too...It was the first time they had met the Mad Hatter & he was a riot! Totally in character..dd - then 11 - was wearing these aren't I cool to be an amost teenager sunglasses on top of her head..& he took them & brought them over to the server and said....Do you think these are too big for her head? I mean she has a big head & all, but aren't these like for a really big head? ...it doesn't sound funny to type...but we were laughing so hard.

So, I think they would enjoy either one. Are you going to CRT? If you have another opportunity to meet Cindy, then maybe choose the breakfast.

My girls (7, 9, 10 at the time) enjoyed it more so than CRT. We have been for dinner and breakfast. Breakfast was yummy and fun with the mad hatter...and the kids loved the mice. I bet its better with the stepsisters there!

I'm trying to avoid going to CRT again - I just wasn't crazy about it the first time (so orchestrated and unnatural), and, DDP or not (haven't decided), I'd rather spend my dollars elsewhere.

I know that I'm going to have to go to CRT at least one more time since DD#2 was only 2 at the time (and doesn't remember much, if anything), but I thought that we could do 1900 PF this time instead (and for something new!).

This is great info! I'm really kind of excited about trying it, now!

We were at the 1900 PF dinner a few weeks ago with our 9 yr old DD. She had a wonderful time!:thumbsup2 The look on her face when Prince Charming kissed her hand was priceless. He also insisted on a picture with me and I was just as awestruck! :lovestruc We really enjoyed the step-sisters also. Like another poster said, the food was good not great, but we were there for the characters anyway.

My daughter loved the dinner- After meeting Prince Charming she replied "Mom he really is CHARMING:love: " And she enjoyed the strawberry soup. I vote dinner!
