How did you get your wishes dessert ADR?

I've been trying to book a Wishes dessert party since early July and haven't had any luck. I've called a few times a week, I stalk the cancellation thread, constantly check online, mobile site, and MDE app.

So is it only available by calling and I just don't call enough? Have you had any luck booking it the last minute (a day or two before)?

I had an issue getting it based on I was searching for a party of two. When I searched for a party of two nothing was open but when I searched for a party of three or four their were openings. Now this is during a non-party month and a slow month period.

I got it the week before we went. It has a 5 day cancellation policy and people indeed cancel right around then it seems.

5 day cancellation? Glad to know that. I am trying to get one for a party night so I know my chances are very slim to none.
