How did you get your welcome bags to guests?

Hi All! I am going to put together welcome bags for our guests. We have a number of people arriving before us and I would like to have these bags ready for them when they check in. Is it possible to ship to the resort beforehand or do we have to hand deliver?

TIA!

We arrived before our guests and we took the bags to the front desk of the hotel they were staying at. The bags had a tag on them with their name, reservation number and date of check in. The front desk delivered them or had them in their rooms by the time they checked in.

You can ship to the Disney resorts. You would need to put the Name on the reservation, arrival date and reservation number on each of the boxes (separate from the FedEx or mailing label).

In case you haven't seen or need it - if you look in the Resorts thread here on the Disboards or on WDW info you should be able to get the shipping or mailing address. There is thread for each resort. I guess you could also call Disney and get the addresses too.

we only had 40 people at the wedding and found that hand delivering them was the best. you got to spend a little time with each guest and could really take the time to thank them for spending their time and money to come all the way to florida for our wedding. it was special to us :)

We were flying so I knew we couldn't bring anything with us so I had shipped my bags to my MOH who was driving and she was awesome enough to deliver the bags to each resort. She dropped them off at the front desk along with a list. For the guests that had already arrived the resorts generally delivered it to their rooms. I say "generally" because Coronado Springs was awful with the bags and didn't hand them out at all and our guests had to go and ask for them :confused3. And I found that even more annoying since they are a convention resort and should be able to handle this type of thing. My MOH also said when she dropped off the bags, this was the only resort that was not helpful about it and were even a little rude. She said she did have a bad feeling about them when she dropped the bags off. I wish we had blocked CBR instead as our moderate.

It wasn't a problem at any of the other resorts, we had blocked rooms at the Grand Floridian, Contemporary and Pop. All of these resorts were helpful and nice to her when she dropped the bags off. They either gave the bags out at check-in or delivered them to the room.
