How did you feel after riding EE?

After riding EE how did you feel?

  • Normal, completely fine

  • Slightly "off", just a little dizzy or shaky

  • Dizzy and shaky to the point that I needed to sit down for a little bit

After reading and posting on another EE thread, I started to wonder what percentage of people experienced motion sickness after riding EE.

Thanks for your responses! :daisy:

I felt fine....I would ride it again. I had an intense headache after Mission: Space but nothing after riding EE.

It made me feel very yucky :( It jerked my neck a certain way and I had trouble straightening it back out while on the ride :sad2: I doubt I will try it again in the future. My family loved it tho! Even my 6 y.o. dd and 8 y.o. ds.
Anyway, I voted that I had to sit down for a while. It wasn't so bad that I had to leave the park, but I sure didn't feel good for a while.

I felt rubbish, worse after sitting near the front or back and had to sit down for 5-10mins. After that I was ok which is why I rode again later to see if it was a one off

I voted that I felt fine, but DH was a little off, dizzy and had to sit for a while before we went on. The amazing thing to me was that DS who cannot usually do roller coasters (always feels sick afterward) finally decided to try it and was fine!

As I said in another thread - I was ready to die.... saying "Take me now" to myself.

Horrible - and I am FINE on everything, and anything else.

I still am confused as to WHY I felt SO bad afterwards. :confused3

Hard to say because for me it changed depending on where we sat. The first time in the middle of the train we all felt fine. The 2nd- much to my horror- we were right at the front. Much scarier, much windier and made us feel a little more wobbly. Brilliant whatever :cheer2:

The very first time, I basically felt fine, my hands were slightly shaky and my heart was racing, but we had fastpasses to go on it again...so I did. The second time was even better! The first time through I just didn't know what to expect, but once I knew what the ride was like, I was able to enjoy it more. Also, the second time through, I had much more of an opportunity to appreciate the theming. The view as you approach the top of the ride is great!

The first time I was fine but we too rode it back to back. The second time I was in the front seat and I screamed/slight swear word  when we reached the ripped up track. I knew we were not going over but my goodness it is different from the front seat. :thumbsup2

Anyway, after the second time I was a bit shaky. :goodvibes Not really motion sick but just a bit dizzy. I did not want to ride it a third time right away.

My over 90 year old parents rode it too but only once in the back seat. My mom loved it! My dad still swears that we went upside down! :woohoo:

for those of you who felt ill, did you sit in the front, middle or back? i'm about to put my 60+ mother on it next week & want her to enjoy it. (she likes disney coasters, loves splash but can't stand Tower of Terror).

We loved it, none of us felt ill after riding.

We rode in the middle towards the back. I would imagine the most intense ride is near the front - the backwards drop is bigger then!

I felt a little shaky getting off, but not to the point we didn't get right back in line.

After riding it 6 times in a row I had to take a break for a few minutes.

Saw it, Rode it, Loved it, Bought the pictures (first time DW EVER rode a coaster with her hands in the air).

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

None of us felt ill, but DD & I did have "jello legs" while walking to Dinoland. Didn't stop us from going straight onto Primeval Whirl, though.

You have got to be kidding me!!!! Now, I have to ride it. Heck if they can ride it in their 90's, I should have no problem in my mid-30's! :rotfl:

I was fine the first 3 times but the 4th time (within an hour) that I rode it, I got dizzy when we went backwards. :teeth:

We were there during soft opening which is why there wasn't much of a line--plus we used fast pass and received one from a family that had chickened out.

I picked the second option, slightly off. But I should add that after just one ride I felt normal, it was after a quick second ride that I felt slightly off kilter. The feeling passed quickly. (And I'm a 73 year old man.)

Enjoy.
