How Did You Create Your DIS Name?

Well, Wendy is my name. Plus, Wendy is a Disney character, so I just went w/ that! ;)

The 31 is how old I was when I joined the DIS.

Now, I should be Wendy38. :rolleyes1

The "reluctant" part comes from my initial attitude: When my dh first suggested we go to WDW back in 2009, I was "no, why would I want to go there, blech, no way".

Then I researched it and realized we should go after all...and we all absolutely loved every second of our trip. Now I'm completely obsessed - we're always talking about past trips and planning our next ones.

Now I get it!;)

My family calls me Missy(my real name is Melissa) and I was 29 when I said up for the DIS, pretty creative.

When I signed up, the few Disney related names I tried were already taken. I was watching a hockey game at the time and they whistled the play down on the offside.. and I thought "hey! I could use that!" So I did. :lmao:

I postponed signing up with Dis for probably 5 years because I didn't want to make the effort to come up with a name.
I finally used the first 2 letters of each of my furbabies' names. Unfortunately, just a week or so later, I lost the "da" in sazida.

It's my username on my favorite stamping website! Stamping was my previous obsession, before I rediscovered the Magic of Disney, LOL.... :)

Mine is short for Disney Nut which was suggested by my husband. And the "8" was originally for Cal Ripken, Jr's number and then Dale Earnhardt, Jr's number (I have a thing for Jr's, don't I?). I'm not changing it to disnut88, BTW. And it's perfect for most places that require a 6-8 character password so it's very easy to remember for everything.

@disnut: Call me crazy, but not something I would mention. ;)

I love Merryweather, but every version was taken. I always remember how they introduced the 3 fairies in Sleeping beauty as "Mistress"...Mistress Fauna, Mistress Flora and Mistress Merryweather.

"Wuzzy" is my pet name for DH, and there are 6 of us in the family. :lovestruc

Mine is actually my real name and three favorite numbers....

My great grandmother was a bookkeeper for Walt, her name was Lauren as was the name of the woman that worked with her, so, to tell them apart, walt referred to my great grandmother as Lauren T.
Nah. My first name is Lauren. And my last name begins with T. How's that for creative?

Lauren, I have no idea what you look like, but I always imagine you as that Tinkerbell in your avatar.:rotfl: That's weird!

And, we have some very 'creative' people on the DIS.;)

Let's see. Syn is short for Cynthia and Tigger is one of my favorite characters. My Maman told me I shoulda used her nickname for me which is Cindyrella but I didn't want something special used lol.:lmao:
