Just reading through the birthday sticky - i noticed that there was some weird and wonderful names. I just wondered how some where born as it bears no relation to your actual names

I will start.........an easy one
DISWolves = Disney fanatic and born in Wolverhampton :thumbsup2

What a cool thread :) :thumbsup2

Mine was easy to choose, but less obvious to anyone who doesn't know me.

My DD's nickname has been Tiggi since before she was born. When she started to talk I called her Tiggi and she called me Tiggi back. Hence: 2Tiggies

To this day we address each other this way, except lately we don't do it in public as she is more self concscious about it all of a sudden.

I wish I could say mine was thoughtful and creative, but it really isn't :goodvibes

My full name is Bethan Elizabeth John. My DIS name is BethEJo. Go figure :goodvibes :goodvibes

Yours is thoughtful and creative! I bet your parents took a lot of careful consideration to name you. :)

Nothing original for me either. My surname is Wickes and I've been known as wickesy ever since school. :confused3

Mine is very dull, my name is Jen and I live in the UK

Smile&Nod came about because every time I start planning a new trip my kids just look at each other and do the "Just smile and nod, it's just mom's obsession kicking in! Just let her ramble!"

My name is Juliette and some people call me Jules - that spelling is always already taken, hence the 'joolz'. My birthday is 19th October = 1910

when i was a baby there was a tv sitcom on called the Lovers ... the man in it was nicknamed Geoffrey Bubbles Bon Bon by his girlfriend, my name is Jane so my dad used to call me Janie bubbles bon bon, it stuck!

when i was signing up for another site and needed a unique username i used janiebubble ... i use it all the time and never have i been told there is already one registered!

I asked the question last year so will be good to see the new dissers reasons for choosing their usernames !!

Mine is a bit out of date now but Ive grown attached to it so cant change.
The reason is our first trip was on request of my 3 boys and they were desperate to meet Buzz Lightyear.
So it was BUZZ FOR the BOYS.

Keep 'em coming xxx

I agree with Louise, will be fun to see the new dissers reasons for their names:goodvibes
my boys are scott and josh = scojos.
grace wasnt around when i started internetting and my log on just stuck even when she turned up:lmao:
tracy

my name and first initial off surname
Paul

Mine isn't very original either. When I started forums/chat rooms at about 13/14 (maybe younger) I would never give any real details out about myself (still don't give my name out online :flower3: it's a bit unusual and uncommon so I don't like sharing it, lol) so my username was always scottish_girl. When I signed up here couldn't think of anything else, just added the 87 as that was the year I was born ;)

Mines not very imaginative im afraid.

My dh nickname was Jobba so I am now MrsJobba1. (Jobling is our surname)

Whats funny is I get Christmas cards addressed to H Jobba from disser's who we have met on our Disneycruises:thumbsup2

Nubbedy is the term DH uses to describe me when I am being a bit dense or doing something daft (which is often ;))- it's a variation on being a numpty, but as it's a made up word it's great for user names on sites as no one else has it!
