How did you and the DIS "meet"?

I was in search mode trying to find any info on WDW while planning our 2002 Thanksgiving trip. From that trip, we went on a cruise in January 2004, now planning another Thanksgiving trip!

I've have found lots of friends on these boards.

I was searching for info on Dixie Landings around August of 1998 and found the DIS!

I was planning a March, 2000 trip to WDW. I stayed on the planning boards mostly and as my trip got closer and I ran out of questions to ask, I ventured to the Community Board.

I was quickly addicted

Googled Disney vacations and the DIS came up. I checked it out, and have been happily addicted since.

When I was a Cast Member, I was had a good friend at the Emporium who introduced me to the DIS. I was always reading the site, but didn't really take part in the conversation.

In January of this year, I was going t ogake my mom down to WDW for her birthday so I chimed in looking for suggestions on how you DIS people celebrated birthdays at WDW....and I've been addicted ever since!

I DIS way to much!
