How Did We Do?

First Off, I stumbled on this website this afternoon & think it's awesome.

Next, me, the wife , the son (7yrs) and the daughter (5 yrs) are booked 04/22 through 04/30. What should we expect for crowds? We're staying at POP Century. Is this ok?

As far as 04/22 - 04/30, that is EXACTLY the week we'll be there! We'll be at the Poly.

As far as what to expect - I've heard that the Northeast schools (New Jersey, New York, etc) are on spring break that week, so we can expect some crowds from that....

I've also heard rumors that crowds will be larger than normal due to the May 5 celebration coming...people getting a 'jump-start' for that occasion.

So...I'm planning for larger crowds...but if it turns out to be not the case - ALL THE BETTER!!!

Princess, thanks for the info. I did look on various NY and NJ school websites and found that they all seem to be on vacation the week before. Hopefully that's true! Th eonly state that I'm aware of on vacation that week is NH (we're from Mass.).

Anyone out there from a school district that is on vacation 04/25 through 04/29?

We are going the same week as our kids are on vaca that week. We are in NH and I believe that is the only state around off the last week in April, I think the rest are the third week. I hope we all have a wonderful vacation. I know I can't wait down to 48 days but whose counting???

I've been lurking for awhile and finally decided to join.

I work in Manhattan and all NYC schools are closed the last week in April. I've run into at least 3 other people that will be at WDW that last week (along with me). NJ schools for the most part aren't closed.

HOWEVER - Passover is that weekend and I'm not sure if that is going to have any effect.
