Probably not so well in my area. The only channel I saw it on was the local ABC affiliate.

Anyone else notice?:confused3

I was in a co-worker's office and heard it on her radio. I'm sure I only recognized it because I was expecting it.

I was watching our local NBC all day. They kept flashing that this would be happening and would be just a test but I didn't see or hear anything at 2! I had to replay my DVR to even notice it!

I had on Fox HD. The announcer was talking about it happening any minute & what would happen. But nothing hapened. :confused3 By the time I flipped channels, it was over. So epic fail. :rotfl2:

It was on all my cable channels. I was watching the DVR and it stopped what I was watching to show the EAS.

My Pandora was not affected at all. They listen to FM radio in the next room, I didn't hear it on there either

I've got music stations on our DirecTV and it interrupted on one of those. I didn't check any other stations/channels.

and as soon as the EBS thing was done..we had one of those 'power hiccups'..and I had to stop and reset all the dvrs, clocks, tv's, computer, etc..PITA..but the system did work on our cable channels!

I just posted on the other EAS thread that there were a lot of problems with it. Sounds like it failed more than it succeeded.

I totally forgot about it because the radio I was listening to just kept playing music. :confused3

At 2:01 I changed stations from one cable news channel because nothing happened and then on the other station it popped up EAS for about 5 seconds. It would not let me change channels to see if it was on the other stations. Around 2:30 my son was watching tv and the channel he was watching changed to another station and EAS showed up on our cable box. We had to shut the tv/cable off to reset.

I tried to record it after it started, and it wouldn't work. I wanted to do it to play it back for my DH, because it was sort of funny...there was a lot of static (like some foreign radio broadcast during WWI or something), and I could hear people talking. I can't even remember what they were saying, but it sounded like arguing, like on a political news show, if that makes sense. :confused3 I did hear Obama's name. This was on TruTV.

I had the Bright House local news channel on. It came on, but the channel never came back. It was a black screen with a little white typing on it. After about 15 minutes of this, I reset my cable box and got my channels back. Very strange.

I was on my way to pick DD up from school, and I heard it on my local AM radio station.

That's pretty much what I heard on MTV. Lots of static and some male voices talking, but I couldn't really make out what it was saying.

We don't have cable, or listen to the radio, so unless someone hadn't mentioned it on facebook I wouldn't have even known about it. I know a lot of people that are unplugged from the media too, I guess we're screwed in an actual emergency. :rotfl:

We have a local FM radio station on at my office. It was very brief (like seconds) and I didn't hear anything they said, just some static.

As soon as it was over, my co-worker shouted out from his office "was that it?".

I guess we were expecting more. :confused3
