How did I mess up my fastpasses so much?

I admit most of this is probably my fault. I had 2 rooms with 2 people in each room for Dec 12-21. I made fastpasses at 60 days. I knew that the 2 people in the other room where up in the air about arrival dates due to work schedules. Thursday, I moved the other room's dates to Dec. 15-21 as that was what the schedules were looking like. The CM assured me that the fastpasses for the 15th-21st would remain and I would only loose the fastpasses for the 2 people in the other room for the 12-14. I understood that. But what I lost was the 12th, 13th, 14th, 19th, 20th, and 21st for that room. To make matters worse, one of them had the vacation fairy open the flood gates today and he can now go the full 12-21. I spent the afternoon getting the room back, changing flights and then trying to get fastpasses back. I was able to copy some days, but some days would go through and others would "hang up". I just started over for those days. I know the 12th-14th is my doing. But I do not understand the 19th-21st. I cried for a bit as it was so frustrating. All is well now. I have the same rides, just different times. They sorta overlap. It is totally workable and I know will have a good time. I just feel the system is a little glitchy or maybe it is just me. Can anyone explain what I did wrong?

The system is notoriously glitchy. The more changes you make, the likelihood of a glitch increases. If you're still having issues, screen shot what you have, then log out & log back in. Sometimes the system just needs a reset.
