I have been to WDW more than 45+ times (lost count 
) but have never stayed on site before. We always stayed at a time share or, when I lived in Florida, just drove up for the day.
We are now booked for our first stay at Disney, (CSR) and I'm beyond excited to be "in" the magic for the entire trip.
When I was talking to the CM on the phone about a completely different matter (forget why I called), we were chatting and I was told that they had applied a 20% PIN code to my stay and that's how they brought my original price down a little. Hmmmm ... now how did I get that code? He wouldn't tell me "why" I got the code, he just said that "Mickey wanted me to come back".
Anyway ... What does one do to get a PIN code in the first place? Just wondering.
