Some people don't mind the date stamp on the bottom right corner, but me, I prefer it without. A photo taken with a digital camera will usually have the date taken included in the EXIF data so no need to put it on the photo IMO.
I agree with taking out the date stamps. Most organizing programs will let you figure out the date pretty quickly these days, and you can always put it on the back of a printed photo, or include in a caption for a printed album.
I do think the 2nd and 3rd photos would be improved if you could get a unified background.
On the 2nd, perhaps crop a little on the right to lost the end of the wall - so it's just one background.
On the the 3rd, maybe touch up with a clone/stamp tool to make the background in the top right corner uniform with the rest of the shot.
I say this because both these shots would be great keepers for a printed album. But most important, have fund with that niece of yours!!
