How Dead are the Hotels?

We are leaving at the end of the month (GF!) and wonder how dead are the Resort Hotels?

I am all for short lines, but part of the magic of Disney is the excitement of the crowds. Will be alone at dinner in Citricos?

Our neighbor just got back from 12 days at DxL (POR) and said it was packed.
