If you go then, you can enjoy being a part of some the the largest crowds of any time of year!
If you want to be in the parks with even MORE folks, stay thru Christmas Day!

It's probably better to go earlier rather than later - the parks were very busy from around December 22nd to New Year last year

Since we're there that same time, I'm hoping they're not crowded at all. :)

I think early in the week will be nice, and the crowds will increase as we get later in the week. Touring Plans website's crowd calender lists them that way, at least.

I am hoping that you are right. Most of what I have seen is the same. Really good Sunday through about Friday Morning is what I have seen. Just wanted input from others.
Thanks

Well, honestly, we went about the same time last year and will never go back that time again. We are NOT into the "crowd" thing so many people may tell you it was manageable, but I found it quite frustrating. It wasn't just the waits on the rides, it was also the waits at the counter service places for lunch. And, walking through crowds of people, it already felt like it was Christmas Day by the weekend before the holiday. (which was a whole week away).

On the day we went to MGM we just gave up on lunch and had a pretzel and I was kicking myself for not making a PS at one of the sitdowns. Whatever counter service restaurant we went to, there were lines at every single register at least 20-25 people deep and they weren't moving. Then watching the parade was a whole other ordeal, can you say "sardine"? They were not taking "walk-ups" at the sit-downs either.

But I must say we love to go to WDW in Dec. every year. We usually go earlier in the month but we waited until later since dd had off early last year. Well, it left such a negative impact on us from last year, we're skipping the "pre-holiday" time and we're not going until after New Year's this season. When it comes to the point of being more of a stressful, frustrating trip rather than a fun, we'd rather stay home. ;)
