How crowded was the 24 hour party last year?

Title says it all. Was thinking of going but not if it's going to be uber crowded. Cause I know the weather is really warm and humid by the end of May too. I don't do crowds AND heat. LOL

We were at the Leap Year 24 hour day, and it wan't too bad. Just figured these are getting more popular since then.

They are usually insane, especially Disneyland. I went to the late night Halloween kickoff part in Anaheim. I was there all weekend. Traffic was insane, lines were insane, and all for I think 3 extra hours. WDW is a bit better. With the abomination that is FP+, the all mightier should be a great time to get lots of E ticket rides. Sleep in REAL late, or go to bed real early, and get to the park around 2, when everyone is running out of gas.

Desperate times takes desperate measures. You could get a weeks worth of fast rides in by today's standards.

The first one in 2012 was total bliss. No crowds, all rides open, it was awesome. But the 2013 one was to crowded to enjoy. 2+ hour lines, all merch (and special food) sold out by 12:00.
Avoid the 2014 one.

I wasn't there last year, but my sister was. She said it was completely insane, even in the wee hours of the morning. She said the ride lines were super long and places were running out of food. Didn't sound like a lot of fun.

Ugh. This is what I'm afraid of. 2012 was great.

I went just after park opening and thought it was pretty quiet. Had breakfast there and did a few rides with my kids with minimal queueing. I'm sure it was manic later in the day but we were only there for about 3hrs and it was much better than I'd feared.

The park was empty from 6 am to 9. Very low crowds from 9-12. We went to lunch at 12. Came out at 1:30 and it was insanely packed. We just left straight from Tony's because it would have taken a whole lot of patience and maneuvering to get down Main Street.

I was there last year. I got there around 7pm and stayed until 6am. It was pretty crowded until about midnight. After that the lines were not too bad. I know around 12 was when a lot of our group left and I almost went with them. Im glad I stayed because soon after I got a second wind and had a blast for the rest of the night. I plan on doing the same thing this year
