It sounded like Monday and Tuesday were awful...how bad was the rest of the week? We're still trying to decide if we should scrap our Thanksgiving trip next year and go a different week...

It was not too bad. We were there from Sunday to Wednesday. I would say that Wednesday was the worse day of them all but still not super bad. We went a year ago in march for easter and that to me was BAD. If the nemo ride wait was only 30 mins that to me is not too bad of a day.

That is just my 2 cents!!

We were there Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (Thanksgiving Night)

Wednesday was the busiest, but didn't feel that bad. We were there for 2 1/2 days and rode everything a minimum of 2 times. My 5yos is a fan of all of the "Mountains". He rode Splash and Thunder Mountain 12 times each  LOL . We didn't miss out on any rides.

Our longest wait of the trip was 30 minutes for Toy Story Mania and The Finding Nemo Subs. Everything else was either FP or the walk on times were 20 minutes or less. Maybe we just got lucky with our timing, but we didn't follow a plan or anything. The evenings were super light after the Fireworks and we even got to go on several rides without getting off of them due to no lines.

It was our first trip that we got everything in. We are definitely considering a return trip next year the first part of Thanksgiving Week.

I've been here since Wednesday, and really it hasn't been bad at all. As others have said, Wednesday was the busiest night. Thursday, Friday and Saturday were not bad at all. Most of the ride waits were relatively short. Even Finding Nemo at around 10:30 am was only 15 minutes Saturday morning.

I totally did not buy into the AP theory about crowding the parks, but now that I've seen that this holiday weekend was not very crowded, I am starting to believe. Definitely glad I invested in a Premium AP. I would definitely suggest Thanksgiving weekend and go again next year.

Thank you! It sounds like it wasn't NEARLY as bad as everyone was predicting. My poor dad was SO sad because he wants this to be our "thanksgiving tradition" but there was no way I wanted to pay that much for a bummer vacation where we were sardined.

We were there on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Monday and Tuesday were pretty crowded up until 10:30 pm. :) Thursday and Friday were busy, but not as bad as Monday and Tuesday were. We were at the beach on Wednesday, but someone on another thread said that they thought Wednesday was not very crowded, so interesting to read that many thought Wednesday was the worse day. Guess we all have our own perspective of crowds...

Were you there first thing in the morning? We try to get there before the gates and be the first into the park. Last year it worked out beautifully and we were done with everything by noon LOL!

hah, im there nearly every week and the pattern shows greatly...
though i must admit, triple blackouts for this holiday season didn't really hit as hard...

Should be VERY interesting for Christmas though... :headache:

We were there Tuesday - Thursday. We went to see the fireworks on Tuesday night (my dd and her BFF had to see New Moon first) and wanted to ride a few rides but the park was packed. Wednesday was also pretty busy but Thursday by dinner time it was much better. Many rides were walk on (Haunted Mansion, Pirates, 15 min for Big Thunder, 25 for Space Mtn). All in all it seemed better crowds than late July.

We were there first thing in the morning on Monday and Tuesday. I know Peter Pan fills up fast, but I had never seen the line as long as I did, 10 minutes after park opening on Monday. We stayed a few hours every morning doing the non fastpass rides, while collecting the fastpass ones, and then would go back at night and turn in all our fastpasses. Never had any problems using them after expiration. It was very crowded, but we still had fun and managed with two little kids with us.

We were there Thurs-Mon. We got home late last night. OMG, NO crowds!!!!! Well, OK there were crowds but nothing like we expected!! Waits were very doable, and yesterday in DCA the girls were walking on and off rides over and over again. I would go again over Tgiving, definitely!!!!
