We will be there Nov3-9 and was wondering from others experiences how crowded is it then. It seems alot of the rooms are booking fast so I got a bit concerned. I know it is the Food and Wine Festival. Could someone let me in on their experiences?:)

We will be there the same time and from information on attendance that I have read, it is a wonderful time to go. Low levels of crowds and the weather is delightful!

MinnieGi- Maybe we will see you there. We are on the BCV waitlist for the last 3 days of our trip, but if it doesn't come through we are at the OKW. I hope attendance isn't too bad. We are taking my DD and my grandmother who will be turning 85. She sometimes doesn't have patience so low crowds would be great. ( I may also be in the process of making a new little Disney fan so the less crowded the better).

Super Soap Weekend is November 8 & 9th this year....so unless you are a Soap fan, stay away from MGM on Sat & Sun.....lots of crowds and it's really packed.......(can't wait:D )

I believe that is also "New Jersey Week". A lot of parents take their kids that week because of teacher conferences, kids have no school. Some say it tends to get crowded, I can't say from personal experience:) Have fun I'll be there Nov. 16-23!

Samantha - I was there last year that exact same week, and the crowds were essentially non-existant. The best example: we arrived at the Magic Kingdom (don't remember the exact day, just that we avoided Saturday) ~ 30/45 minutes after official opening, and did Peter Pan, Pooh, Snow White, Dumbo, and the Tea Cups with about 15 minutes total waiting in line. YMMV of course, and crowds were somewhat lower than normal due to 9/11. They had started to rise again, though, so I don't think it was too unusual. The weather was also *perfect* - beautiful, sunny but not hot, total "Wish you were here!" weather. Have a fabulous trip!! -Michelle

Thanks Michelle. You made me look forward to Nov. even more, If that were possible!:D

Yes that is Jersey week at WDW, this years it's the first full week of November. Many of my friends and neighbors go then. Kids are out of school November 4 - 11, 2002 for anyone interested.

We were at WDW Nov. 1-8 2000. They crowds were not bad at all, except on election day. I was guessing that some local schools/business seemed to be closed. I could tell that many guests were locals since many had on stickers that said somthing about they voted and don't forget to vote (who knew that morning that Florida would be such a swing state!).

I think Jersey week was at the tail end of our vacation, and Soap Weekend was after we left, so none of those events really impacted us.

The weather was wonderful. Not too hot, but we wore shorts and swam. It hardly rained, and wasn't humid. This is a wonderful time of year to visit.
