Does Sea World get crowded on Thanksgiving weekend? Will the Friday after Thanksgiving be unbearable there?

Thanks!

Does anyone know?????:jumping1: :jumping1: :jumping1:

(oops....didn't mean to put in that many jumping things!!!)

Yes, it will be crowded. Thanksgiving weekend is a very busy of the year at all of the parks, and SeaWorld is no exception.

Unbearable is a matter your family's definition, of course. Just like at Disney, I would try to eat lunch during the "off hours" (not between noon and 1:30 pm), or you could spend a ridiculous amount of time standing in line for food. And the shows will actually fill up, so you can't walk up at the last moment and expect to seat a party of 16 together at the Shamu show.

The upside of going at that time of year is that park hours are extended, and I suspect that they will have the Mystify fireworks show and Sea Lions Tonight running again during the evening hours.

Thanks, Catlady! That Friday would actually be our second day in the park. Our plan actually has us in no parks on Thurs., Fri., and Sat., but we're trying to come up with options in case the weather doesn't cooperate with resort activities!

That's the day we were looking at going - we are flying into Orlando Thanksgiving - and not doing the parks that day - but were hoping SeaWorld would be the less crowded on that Friday- guess we'll just have to give it a try and hope for the best!!!

We're planning to be there the Saturday after Thanksgiving and I'm sure it will be crowded. Guess the good news is that the park will be open until 8:00 pm (instead of 6:00 pm). I'm hoping that since we mostly want to see shows and visit the exhibits, we won't mind the crowds too much. We can go back for another 1/2 day on Sunday if we want/need to do rides. I'd expect Sunday mornings to be a little less crowded.
