How crowded is the airport, on a Friday night

We have always arrived on Sat. morning, and always gotten a towncar, so I never have really thought about the crowds, since we have had help with luggage, and never driven.

We will be arriving around 7:45, NWA, and have a National Emerald Aisle reservation.

How crowded and approx, how long to get luggage, car, and get to the resort. Just wanting to know what to expect.

Airports are usually crowded Friday evening with business travelers heading home. But I don't think it will impact you except for possibly security at your departure airport.

Actually, a lot of people arrive between 7:00-11:00pm on Friday's, and MCO tends to get busy. Expect to wait for your rental car, unless you've got one of the programs like Fast Break or Emerald Aisle.

Thanks for the replies. That is what expected the answers to be.

I do have EA, so that should speed things up a bit.

I'm just trying to determine, if we will get to bed Fri. night, early enough to get up and head out at 7:30 the next morning for an 8 am breakfast. I've got 2 DD, who will be pretty tired by the time, they go to school on Fri, and then fly to FL. Plus the fact that they will be excited, and hard to settle for bed.

i agree with the car rental part. we got in on fri night on our last trip and not only was the line long but the choice of suvs was basically no choice. there was only 1 left and it was horrible. so just be prepared if renting a car.
