How crowded is October?

I'm planning a family trip to the World in October. I've been there in September, November and December but never October. The dates I am looking at are 10/15 to 10/25. Now I am getting nervous that the parks will be very crowded.

I looked at one guide and I know it is regular season. Should I worry?

This will be one child's first trip. We will probably spend 7 days in the parks.

I have been in Ocotber, November, and January and have found January to be the least crowded---right after New Years. October and November were a little more crowded but it was not unmanageable and/or long long waits. The problem I had was with the heat, lol. I was not used to hot and humid 90 degree days in October!

Faith, trust, and pixie dust to you.

The FTP might be causing crowds to be higher this year since it runs through the end of Oct. So looking at crowd levels in the past may not trly reflect what they will be like this year.

Where you pay for 4 nights, get 3 more free. By the way, I heard the dates were extended through 11/20.

We've been to WDW in January, February, May, September, October and November and have an October trip planned for this year. By far January was the least crowded but we were only able to go to Typhoon Lagoon one day because it was quite cool. September was (surprisingly - to us at least) much hotter than October, so we have decided on October. The weather is still quite warm (which we like) and the crowds are manageable (although I think they may be up a little due to the FTP).
