How crowded is it on the ship and at the stops?

This will be my first cruise and I was wondering what to expect. Is everything always nuts? Is there enough seating for dining? What about the beaches at Castaway and Nassau? Is everything crowded there?

Thanks for any info!!!

In the dining rooms you are assigned a table so it doesn't matter if its corwded or not, you still get your table. Cataway cay is a bit crowded but no where near as crowded as the beaches by me in the summertime.

It is crazy at the terminal if you arrive early. I never felt crowded on the ship and you can always find a quiet spot. You have assigned seats at dinner, so you don't have to worry about that and we never felt it was crowded at lunch or breakfast. If you eat at AP, L or PC their are people to seat you. Topsiders at lunch was probably the worst. Searching for a seat, trying not to spill your tray, but we always found a seat.

At Castaway Cay we were in line to get off the boat when the doors were opened. The only reason we did that is I wanted a lounge chairs closest to the water so our kids, 4 and 2 had plenty of room to play in the sand. There are tons of chairs and if you didn't care where you sat, you could get there at any time. There is a lot of sand and space.

I'm not a big crowd fan, but never felt crowded or uncomfortable.

Only crowd we encountered was getting off the ship the last day. We wondered where all those folks had been all week.
