Just wondering if it is crazy trying to get off the ship at the ports or fairly quick??

Sorry I have so many questions but this is our first cruise....Yaaaaa

very quick suprisingly quick embarkment. Might look like a long line but hey this is Disney.

Once they open the doors it does usually move quickly when the ship docks. Tendering might take a little longer but at least they have you wait in the theater until the tender is almost there. It can get a little crowded in the area near the door they open. We have had a couple of not so nice experiences where people have shoved past us & the kids trying to get off the ship.

We made the mistake of getting in line to disembark at CC. Major mistake. We had to wait like an hour in line with several people who was cutting line and holding places. I will NEVER do that again. The first cruise we went on we waited and it was much better.

We met our Nassau excursion group in Cadillac Lounge and they led us off.
We went back into town after eating lunch onboard. No line.
We went to CC fairly quickly after the all-clear call. No line at all.

As far as returning to Cape Canaveral, you couldn't ask for better. I timed it Thursday. We disembarked at 7:40. We got a porter inside the luggage terminal after we pulled our 4 pieces out of the tan section for our room number. She (the porter) took our luggage, our drivers licenses, and our customs form and we followed her to an agent. He asked DD-11 "who is this lady?" and she said "my Mom". He asked me where I was born and asked DH what his occupation is. He said "Welcome to the USA" and never even looked at the birth certificates I was holding as directed to. Porter went with us to the car (in the side lot near the ship) and only 8 minutes had gone by since we left the ship doorway. EIGHT minutes!!! That is the best $10 you'll ever spend!!! (I read here to give a couple of bucks per bag)
There are four agents, but there are not ropes showing you how to line up.
The porters know this and tried to tell others to move this way or that, but they weren't listening.
