How crowded in the RAINFOREST?

From reading the posts everyone loves going to the rainforest. I have read that there are four heated lounge chairs that are great for curling up in and reading a book. As popular as it seems to be, how crowded is it? I know it is coed, so are there lots of people in the showers together? And how does everyone share 4 lounge chairs? Thanks

We have tried to go every day on our last 5 cruises. We have only gone a couple of times when all 4 loungers are being used when we arrive. On those occasions we just go sit in the heated room and wait there for them to open up. Everyone seems to like to go at different times and it usually is not very crowded. We have been there when we were the only two for at least a portion of the time. The showers are only one person at a time. Again, we have not had to wait more than a couple of minutes for the showers to be free for our use.

I've seen posts referring to the Rainforest before but I still don't understand what it is. Is it part of the spa and if so I'm assuming it costs something to go there? Appreciate any further explanation on what this is. Thanks!

The rainforest is one of the things I miss the most about being home. I would love my own version of the rainforest room right in my own back yard. It was so relaxing - and best of all - my kids couldn't be at the door knocking, knocking, knocking.......... :goodvibes

We went on port days and had the place to ourselves...
(of course we fell asleep in the tile lounge chairs...So who knows if anyone joined us or not!! ;) )
It is so relaxing! I can't wait to go back. :hourglass

The rainforest is a part of the spa and there is a charge.

You can do it just for a day. It was $15 per day unlimited.

You can also get a week pass or if on the Wonder a 3 or 4 day pass. It was $50 for the week when I was on, but I believe it is now $75.

On the Magic, as the cruise went on, they advertised different passes. Such as, if you went on day 4 of the cruise, you could get a 4 day pass for a better price than $15 per day. I don't know if they still offer this.

When I went, the rainforest was only crowded once during the week. Although I liked the heated tile lounges in the main room, I preferred the heated tile lounges in the sauna like room to the right of the main door. The seats are pretty hot in there so I recommend that you grab a towel or robe to sit in/on. There is a hose to sprinkle on the seats if you want to cool it off more, just don't soak everyone else in there!

People don't use the showers together...they are made for one person (or maybe two if you know the other person!). Sea days are the busiest, as are port days when it's getting later in the day and everyone is heading back on board. I usually don't have trouble getting a heated tile lounger. Every now and then, there is a "lounger hog" who puts towels, robe, etc. on one while they go off and use the showers and sauna. In that case, I simply remove their items.

Don't forget about the steam rooms/sauna! DH and I love steam rooms, and they have two in the Rainforest. The two steam rooms are each "scented" with a different fragrance. One is supposedly hotter than the other, but I couldn't tell the difference.

I would lounge on those tile chairs while I cooled down from the steam room - ummmmmmmmmm, a little slice of heaven!
