How crowded during gay week & how hot does it get?

I was just wondering how crowded it will be during gay week at the parks, I am going during that time and am dreading going with all the extra people in attendance. I have heard to not even go to MK on 6/3 because it will be nuts there, true??

Also wanted to know how hot it might be during that week? Is it hot at night also? Have no idea what to pack...

Hiya,
i was at Mk on that day last June and yes it was busier but certainly not unbearably so. It wouldnt put me off going at that time again. I know there are far busier days at MK than that.
It was hot but it was also quite wet. Buy a poncho!! In the evening it was still lovely and warm, a skirt and a strappy top suited me but a cardigan or something for inside restaurants as the air conditioning always feels too cold!

Yes, it's very very warm here in June! Many days we get extra clouds and rain which helps cut down on the heat, but on days with no rain, plan for temperatures from the mid 90s on up, plus humidity. It stays warm at night, so just plan on bringing a jacket or sweater for rain showers or air conditioned buildings.

There are specific days for specific parks... going to a different park on those days might help the crowds a little.

Thursday, June 1, Animal Kingdom
Friday, June 2, Studios
Saturday, June 3, Magic Kingdom (what I've heard is the day with crowds)
Sunday, June 4, Epcot

Except for lunch at Epcot, we had already planned to be a different parks those days before I saw the schedule. Our schedule was to hit most of the EMH evenings... we're night people and it is cooler when the sun goes down (cooler being a relative term).
