How crowded does MNSSP get?

I currently have tickets for October 9th and I remember going in 2011 but I don't remember how long the lines were. I did the Christmas party last year and it was a little more crowded than I thought it would be. I know 7DMT will still have some line but how are the lines in the rest of the park?

Last year line rides were pretty short, and we went the party before Halloween that was sold out.

I think the park is super crowded between 4-7 with many people entering and few people leaving. But by 7:30 when all the day guest have been leaving the crowdiness will feel less.

Jeez. That thread scares me lol. I remember the party being fantastic in 2011 and the Christmas party feeling very heavy last year. How do I know if the party is sold out? I'm assuming it being a Friday night before Columbus weekend that it's going to be packed. I hope not. The whole point of paying extra is to get the extra amenities.

I would wait until the party tomorrow night and possibly the one on Sunday night before getting too scared. There seem to be a few contributing issues to the first party and it's worth seeing how the others compare. Although all past reviews say the ride lines were short and the M&G lines were long. That seems to be no different this year.

The M&G lines don't really bother me. We have an 18 month old and while it's cool for pics he could care less about the characters. I'm hoping for short lines for the rides and the parade not being overly crowded. The big thing with the lines is we are taking turns for the rides he can't go on yet and it turns into nearly double the wait even with the rider swap. We only plan on doing 7DMT and space mountain once each so it's not gonna an all night thing of rider swapping but waiting on line for 45 minutes for 7DMT on a night where the lines are supposed to be minimal kinda ruins the fact that it's a hard ticket event.

You will likely see short lines for rides, but the parade tends to be crowded. Go the later one (I know, you have a young one) for fewer crowds.

I remember in 2011 that rides like space mountain and Peter Pan were basically either walk ins or at most a 10 minute wait. Hopefully that's the case again.

Pan was at 30 on Tuesday druuring the party. It wasn't to bad!
