How crazy is Aulani over Memorial Day weekend?

We are planning our first trip to Aulani!! So excited. We can either go arriving the Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend or arriving the following Saturday night. Will the crowds be a lot worse over Memorial Day weekend? Thanks!

We got there the Thursday after Memorial Day and stayed for a week. The resort never felt crowded. However, that was our first trip to Aulani so I don't have anything to compare the crowd levels to. I dislike crowded places and I did not think it was too bad.

Thank you for your reply. I am most worried about the crowds on the Sunday and Monday of Memorial Day weekend, so I don't know what to do. Flights are cheaper to arrive over Memorial Day weekend, but I will pay the fare difference if the second week of June will be a lot less crowded. I just don't know!

If any one else has been there over Memorial weekend, can you let me know your experience? Just wondering if a lot of locals will be there, as I have read is the case every weekend, but maybe more so on a holiday weekend?
