That weekend will be very busy so be ready to stand in long lines. The best thing I can tell you is...get there at opening and do what you can before 10am. You might want to consider purchasing Express Plus passes if the lines get out of control...and they will. BUT...the parks stay open until 10pm so if you have the unlimited admission tickets, you could come back later in the evening.How crazy busy is the weeks around July 4?
I doubt the lack of fireworks are going to keep many people away. There are plenty of fireworks displays that night you can see. The City of Orlando has a terrific display and you can probably watch it from the top of the garage.We will be there on the 4th for the 5th straight year. It is a blast. All the good fireworks, and cool stuff that the onsite hotels do. The lines will get crzy, but Express will save you. Dont know if the no-show on fireworks will make it less crazy or not, but i guess we will just have to find out

the uo park will not have the fireworks this year for the 4th but i heard they are thinking of using the 360 globes instead.

4 huge spheres in the universal lagoon. Clips from past universal movies are played on them, and there is also a laser and firework show.
