How crazy are evening EMH at Epcot?

Our current plans have us there on an EMH evening, but it would be pretty simple to swap things around if it's really really bad.

I did EMH Epcot eve just once in early December. For me, as a solo, it was a total delight. Soarin' still had a 45 minute long line though, and it was close to midnight. The walk back to The Boardwalk was delightful that late.

We love the evening EMH. We try to hit them all on our vacations. For Epcot I would say (in July atleast) most things are 20min or less (now with the Test Track reimagine that might be a little longer).

We plan on evening EMH at Epcot, it's great! So pretty at night, and the crowds are usually lighter the later it gets.

This surprises me. I have only had 2 experiences with pm EMH. One at MK , open till 1 I think, and HS open till 12. This was last year first week of June. It was crazy busy. Very long lines for everything and people everywhere.

So this brings me to a question. We arrive Wednesday September 18. It is Epcot EMH with a crowd #1 according to Easywdw. So how busy will it really be ?

I think it depends on the time of year that you are there. I think the evenings at Epcot are awesome.

I have never done EMH for Epcot because I always thought not enough attractions for the crowd that would be there, we always go to MK and HS EMH. So we are going second week of August, thoughts on worth it or not?

I've never been a big fan of evening emh at future world and dhs.

At a busy time of year, Especially now that emh is only two hours- at regular park close test track, soarin and toy story may still have one hour lines- if it takes an hour to run through those people- then there is only one hour of "exclusive" touring. Epcot and dhs also don't have the number of attractions to spread out the crowds an most people will go for the few headliners.

World showcase during emh;however, is fantastic! I love Epcot at night and love extra hours in world showcase at night!

WHAT!! World Showcase is open during EMH. Does this mean I can drink till 11:00, then I may actually make it around the world.

The planning sites always warn against them but for me EMH at any park are a must do. I do them all! Never had any regrets.
I can get through all the rides I like at Epcot EMH. Last Feb I did evening EMH at Epcot and then morning EMH the next day-lol
I wasn't going to but couldn't resist. I finally tired of Test Track and went on Soarin' twice.
I find MK EMH still quite busy and less enjoyable but I still go for Space and Splash Mtn.
EMH at HS is the only way I can get on TSM.
It's fun to be at any park at night especially if it's dark. Go in the morning and have breakfast in the park!

I agree. We usually avoid high-crowd dates, which probably helps even more, but Epcot EMH is nice. When we were there a few months ago, Soarin' had a 40 minute posted wait pretty close to closing time, but the wait was really only about 15 minutes. The kids hit Mission Space over and over and over again...maybe too much.

During the Food and Wine Festival, most of the little beer carts/vendors closed after Illuminations, though. That was two years ago. It might be different now.

We plan our trips around Epcot evening EMH in November. It is usually cold, but so worth it.

Of course, that said, watch this next trip be a total bust in respect to that.

I enjoyed the evening EMH at Epcot that I did last week. I don't ride Soarin' so didn't mess with that line.

But Test Track near the end of the night was a 20 minute wait which was much better than during the day.

Every country in World Showcase was not open. Only a few of them were - so that's something to know if you go. We had already been around World Showcase that afternoon so I just decided to walk around it on a whim that evening again since the family left and I was alone.

I usually check out the evening EMH when I'm there. If it's too crowded I leave, if it's quiet I stay and enjoy the evening. If your plans are flexible, I'd go check it out.
