A few days ago when my family and I at the Boardwalk pool this person came up to us and said that he was checking out that day, however he also mentioned still having some quick service credits left and asked if we wanted to use them since they were going to be wasted. We told them no thank you, however I was wondering had we said yes how could we used them since his KTTW card would be in his name and etc.

Maybe he was going to go with you at that moment to purchase some meals.

I did that for another family once....in 2006 or 2007, my family was in the POP food court at lunch, trying to use up our DP credits on our last day in WDW. I turned to a man and asked if I could buy his family lunch because I had 4 CS credits to use up. He was thankful, picked out several things, & I went with him to the register & stood there while everything was rung up. I then used my KTTW card for the purchase.

The cast member was in such awe that I would buy another family lunch that he gave me two new Tink pins (they were sealed in shrink wrap) for being so nice to another family.

Turns out later that I learned from someone here on the DIS that you're not supposed to use the dining credits on other people. But I didn't know that then & the cast member obviously didn't care.

That was nice of you, but what would have prevented you from giving that guy your KTTW card and him using it at the register? I mean, I'm not sure since I haven't had the DDP since 2006,but do the CMs ringing you up require you to sign anything when you get the receipt?

Because what if they then made other purchases? You would be liable for the amount charged.

Sharing credits on the DDP is against the plan guidelines, thread is closed
