How could I forget going to the Beachouse last week?

I can't even imagine why I forgot about getting together at the beachouse! Where was my mind? Maybe in a glass of wine by the BBQ. How did it all go? I woke up from a sound sleep nudgged DH & said "we missed the get together!" So sorry I missed it.

We probably ran into one another and never knew! We were down at the beach for the turkey bowl with my mom two of my kids played

Did anyone take pix during the Turkey Bowl? DH and I played but didn't have anyone extra to take pix. If you were looking at the water from the beach, we were in the game to the left.

I'm working on writing up a trip report since this was our first HHI experience. We had a great time and loved the resort!

I had a great time at the meet! I was a bit nervous because I had never been to one before. It was me and my son and little brother (both teens). They hit it off the with other kids right away and I met the most wonderful DISers. We had dinner plans with family and I didn't plan on staying long but we were at the meet for over an hour and I really didn't want to leave.

We are planning to spend next year this same time at the resort. There were so many activities compared to when we usually go and my family had a ball and want to go back so I'll be booking as soon as the 11 month window opens up.

I can't remember all the names of the great people I met but you were all so friendly and welcoming. Thanks for that.

My son and brother played in the turkey bowl and said they had a blast. It was way to cold for me to be a spectator so I dropped them off. I wished I would have stayed around to take a few pics but I didn't think of it.

I hope we can all get together again next year.

I had talked DH into stopping by the meet during our drive to HHI and then completely spaced it Weds evening. I'm sure we ran into some of the DISers (we played in the Turkey Bowl as well) but didn't know who was who.

We talked to a couple of teenage girls from GA in thw hot tub Saturday night and they said it's their family tradition to go there for Thanksgiving. I asked if their family were DVC members and they didn't know. That's when it dawned on me that it doesn't matter to kids as long as they get to take a trip.
