How comfortable are the sofa/beds?

This may be an odd question but the 2-bedroom vacation homes claim to sleep eight persons. I can only assume that 4 guest's will be sleeping on two sofa/beds. Also would the sofa/beds be more child freindly that adult freindly?

TIA.

Stay at OKW and you only get one sleeper sofa in the living room (two queen beds in the 2nd bedroom, king in master). It wasn't horrible, especially for one person. The newer types at SSR and a few other resorts (they have been swapped out) are the memory foam type with no bars underneath.

The pull out sofa beds at OKW are really quite good. The best ever for a sofa bed.....no bars either.

We stayed at both BCV and OKW this summer. DD(10) said the BCV sofa bed was very uncomfortable and raved about the OKW sofabed. I thought the OKW sofabed was much better as well as the King Bed.

The sofa beds at BCV were comfortable according to my son who only weighs 70 lbs. As an adult I would not want to sleep on it. It was thin and did not seem to lay too flat

stayed in one bedroom at BWV and it was soooooo comfortable went a couple months later to BWV stayed in a studio HORRIBLE, uncomfortable. Goes to show you just never know

As a spoiled teenager ;), I thought I would not be able to bear one night on a pull-out sofa bed. However the memory foam matress thingy was quite comfortable at SSR. I'm 5'3" and weigh 100lb. I am a pretty picky sleeper though and do not enjoy any camping at all in the NH woods because of uneven surfaces. Thank goodness there were no bars underneath!

We just got back from DBV on 7/31. I slept on the sofa bed in our 1 bedroom studio for 3 nights (husband was sick in the regular bed, and I didn't want to bug him). The sofa bed was very comfortable. In fact I couldn't tell I was on a sofa bed at all. The mattress is almost as thick as the mattress on the regular bed. I hate sofa beds because I can always feel the metal slats poking through. Not the case on these sofa beds. :thumbsup2

My future son-in-law slept on the sofa bed in a 2BR at BCV two years ago-he's 6'2 and 200 lbs-said he slept just fine.
