How come I always end up in Celebration?

Now, I love Disney World; I really do. All I want is to do is go to Walmart for breakfast items or batteries or stuff like that. There are no signs to clearly mark the roads. Sometimes you can see the road you want and you can't get there. Every trip I (or even my husband) seem to get lost and end in Celebration. Are there any good maps to help use landmarks to get out of WDW? I went with my parents last June and my dad was driving. We ended up in Celebration twice before finally finding a Walmart, and it wasn't even the one I was originally looking for. Also, can GPS guide me?

If you have a Garmin or similiar GPS, you can put the address in the thing and it will guide you to the store. You might make sure you have the closest Wal Mart to you. That would be the one on Vineland road between 192 and 535.

If you don't mind paying a small toll, the easiest way to get to that Wal-Mart from WDW is to take Osceola Pkwy (aka The road to Animal Kingdom). Just go Eastward on Osceola, as if you were going away from AK, and continue on out of WDW property. (You will pass both the I-4 and 417 exits as you keep going East on Osceola.)

Exit Osceola at Vineland Rd/535 (I forget which notation is on the sign; that road goes by both names.) The store is on the NW corner of the interchange if you loop back under Osceola to the left; you should be able to see it from the road. As I recall, I think that the toll is no more than $.50 each way to get on and off there.

another easy way is to go to DTD, go all the way out to Crossroads. Make a right and keep going. Walmart is on your right just past Polynesian Isle Blvd.

mom2mom, that's correct. That road is SR 535. Proceed south, passing under I-4 and the 417 tollroad and Wal-Mart Supercenter is just over the Orange-Osceola county line on your right. I-4 has an interchange with SR 535 so if you can find I-4 then you can find the SR 535 exit. That's the "Lake Buena Vista/Kissimmee" exit.

Thanks all. I like the DD way. I think I can figure that one out.
