How close is Windsor Hills to Universal?

We are staying on-site at Disney on a 40% pin code the first week of December. We'd like to also do Sea World and maybe Universal as well. I have seen the wonderful recommendations on here for Windsor Hills and am curious how close it is to Sea World and Universal?

Do you have any other recommendations for accommodations near Universal? We are considering a Universal hotel, but thought after staying in a Disney hotel (Poly) for 6 nights, more space (and a lower cost) may be nice. It will just be me, DH and my DS3.

Windsor Hills is about 15 - 20 minutes from SeaWorld and another 5 to Universal via I-4 if there's no delays. Another alternative for you would be Vista Cay which is on Universal Blvd in the Convention Center area. This would be close to Seaworld and Universal. Windsor Hills and Vista Cay have the same builder. Vista Cay has condos and townhouses but no pool homes.

You can check www.vistacayrent.com for listings. VC is very nice - upscale and gated.

One plus for the Universal onsite hotels is that you get unlimited front of the line access with your room key. We've used it before, and it's great!
