How close is the village to the main park?

I was just wondering if it is a short walk or whether you need to take the shuttle.

I'm just wondering whether to plan any lunches in the village or if it is best to stay in the main park during the day so I get to see everything without rushing backwards and forwards!!!

about 5 mins walk from the park entrance. you could plan a morning inn studios, go to village for lunch then dlp for the afternoon, as you go very close to the village entrance when you go between the parks.
it's all pedestrianised too.

Hi,
Yes it is a maximum of 5 minutes from Disneyland Park to the village even less from the studios. It depends how much time you have as to whether to stay in the parks for lunch or not. The village is probably less crowded at lunchtimes than the parks and the less waiting time will probably offset the little walk. It's personal choice really.
No shuttle bus to village from parks. It's all pedestrianised.
