HOW CLOSE IS SW to UO

We will be at US for 2 days thought of extending a day to so to sea world. Is there a shuttle? Is sea world worth taking the time to go see??

I'm not sure if there is a shuttle but we loved SW. It's a beautiful park and can be done in one day, definitely worth seeing. The Believe Show is wonderful.

yes, there's a shuttle from US to SW. i don't have first-hand experience w/ it but saw signs while staying at US last year, both at PBH & RPH. i was told that times fluctuate based on the season. it looked like the shuttle picked up at 10 a.m. & sea world opens at 9 a.m. so i wasn't crazy about that. the shuttle makes a stop at wet n wild then goes to sw. i think there are 2 departure times from SW but near the end of the park day so you'd be at SW the whole day.

i have read here on the boards that shuttles can be full so they'll call for another one but it's still a wait time that i wasn't willing to do w/ small children, esp. after a long day in the park.

my recommendation is to take a cab.

btw, sw is about a 10 min drive, about 6 miles, from US. definitely worth a day.

UO and SW are pretty close, if you go by busy International Drive it can take 10-15 minutes,however on I-4 it's like 3-4minutes!!!And Yes you should do Sea World, it's a great park!!!

As posted by Jenny, there is a shuttle from the onsite hotels, but it leaves late, taking away the early morning advantage.
Best advice is to rent a car for your visit, even if it costs more. The convience factor makes up for the differance.
It's nice to visit SWF in the morning, and then another time at night.
What I try to tell everyone is to visit a park early in the morning, go back to your hotel and rest, then visit another park at night.

It takes us 10 minutes to get to US from SW. YES, SW is very much worth the visit. We liked it so much, we got annual passes along with our US annual passes. SW's my wife's favorite park of all. Enjoy!
