How close is San Diego Zoo and Legoland ??

Can we visit San Diego and Legoland when we go to DL next year?? How close are they??? Can you stay at DL and travel to these places or is it too far?? Thanks.

It took us a little bit over an hour to get from Anaheim to Seaworld. The drive is very easy but don't do what we did and try driving back at rush hour. Have dinner in San Diego and drive back. We are doing Legoland for the first time and apparently it is an easy 45 minute drive from Anaheim.
