How close are Downtown Disney hotels to DTD?

DH and I are coming down for a couple of days later this month and plan to see Nickel Creek at the House of Blues. I have been looking up the hotels on the internet, but so far have not been able to find specifics on exactly how close these hotels are to DTD. DH and I can't remember seeing any hotels REALLY close to DTD the last time we visited. We would like a hotel within very easy walking distance to Downtown Disney--preferably a few blcoks at the most , NOT a mile away.

Does anybody know the distances?? Thanks in advance.

the DTD hotels - are across the street - not a mile away - shorter SSR (in May) will open it will be next door.

Spiceycat is right ! The Hilton, Wyndham, and Grosvenor are directly across the street, but in different directions, and the closest (3 minute walks maybe). There are about 4-5 others that are really close, but more of a 5-10 minute walk. I picked the closest knowing that I would be there most nights and I was already gonna be on my feet all day long. There is bus service to DTD from all of those DTD hotels after 6pm though if your feet are hurting too bad to walk.....

Thanks, ya'll! We decided to go for the Wyndham ($80.00 per night on Hotwire). We like trying different hotels each time we go to Disney...and we'll love being walking distance from House Of Blues.

You'll also have the best bus schedule to the parks there. Lucky You!!!
