How close am I?

Just got word from my Resale company that Tuesday or Wednesday I should be hearing from Disney about the ROFR passing or not.

If I get it, how much longer is the process? The money (in full) is ready to be sent.

I passed ROFR on 7/17. I received my closing docs from the title co. yesterday 7/27.

After the title co. gets all documents and funds back from buyer and seller and can complete the closing, it should be another 3 weeks or so for Disney to be notified of the completed sale and then create the new membership & load the points. (give or take)

Would you think that once it is all said and done and i can reserve a room (5 months out), Would the week of January 9 - 15th be available??

We passed ROFR 7/3 and closed 7/24. Still waiting for points to load into our account. Since we have an existing membership (they won't have to set one up for us) hopefully we can skip a step and have the points in our account a few days sooner. We were told to allow 10-12 business days for points to be available after closing.

Good Luck on booking your vacation in early January. I think a lot of us will be competing for the same rooms.

I just passed ROFR this past Tuesday - July 24 ... received the closing documents from Magic Vacation Title the next day (amazing!! - I was expecting it to take at least a week ...)

Sent everything back to *** yesterday ... hopefully the Sellers will be quick to do what they need to do ... cuz I wanna try and book a long weekened in mid-Sep or Mid-Nov ...

I think I'm looking at maybe another 2 weeks to close (max! - ??), and then a week or so until the points are loaded ...
