How clean is your desk/work area?

I have just finished getting my completely orgaized! I cleaned out three file cabinet's! I made all new file labels for each file,it took me a week to do this! This was something that I had been wanting to do for some time now! Now it is done and I love it! It is now so much easier for me to find all the paper work!

To me, it is organized, I know what pile everything is in. To everyone else it looks like a mess.

as my boss once put it, it doesn't look like anyone works here. There is nothing on my desk and I clear it of files and paperwork instantly, I even keep the stapler, tape and pens in the drawer and my filing cabinets are very well organized.

Now I only wish I could do that with my house. I realized my desk is the only place I have total control of its appearance. Plus lost paperwork and such is never discovered on my desk

when i worked---
a small child could have gotten lost on my desk---
