How Can We Kill The Ginger Taste?

My DH & I picked up some tequila in Mexico that was supposed to .............. Hum, never mind what it's supposed to do. Anyway, it has ginger in it & the taste is overpowering. My DH tried a recipe containing reg. tequila, orange liquer, lime & lemon juice, & this tequila. All I can taste is the ginger, which I don't like. After a couple sips, I was nauseated. It's definitely not go to do anything for me, if I can't drink it. Anyone have suggestions for something he could mix it with to kill the ginger taste? TIA

I don't have any suggestions...sorry, but I had to comment. Just THINKING about ginger flavoured tequila makes me want to vomit......

Ginger is pretty potent. Can't think of anything to undo that.

Funny that it makes you naseous (sp?)--as it is supposed to ease up nausea.

Perhaps hit a liquor store and ask for mixer suggestions?

I'm not sure that it was the ginger that made me nauseous. I just assumed it was, because I really don't like the taste. I had literally taken just a few sips, before I felt sick. I took a Dramamine & feel better now. I'll have my DH stop & ask for suggestions.
