How can we "disney-up" a non-Disney costume?

The whole family is dressing as crayons for MNSSHP.

We'll have pointy hats that match our ensembles and be carrying our "boxes" as trick or treat bags.

Anyway - I want to add some disney flair to it...but I'm not sure how.

I was thinking of adding ears to the crayon hats OR adding black mickey icons to the crayon labels? I don't know...

Are there Disney crayons? Like ones that you get at restaurants or in a gift shop - does anyone have them and can tell me if they look any different?

Any other ideas?

I don't know about special 'Disney' crayons from the restaurants. Sorry.

But I would probably add a 'hidden Mickey' to the crayon labels, and then creatively name all of the colors with Disney related names. Something like "Snow White", "Baloo Blue", "Piglet Pink", etc..

That is what I was thinking too - give them Disney names - Eeyore blue would be a good color name too, Poison Apple Red, hmmm this could be fun!

Thanks for all the great ideas. I wonder if I could do the "Crayola" down the front and on the back, like a sports jersey, write the color name...just so people can really see it.

The crayons at the restaurants and resorts are not Disney - they are the same generics given out at restaurants across the country.

Red - i agree the poison apple one is good, but i also like Mickey's Shorts Red.
Orange - also agree that tigger is the best choice here
Yellow - pooh bear yellow or Mickey's Shoes Yellow
Green - (if it is a light green) Goofy Green (his hat) or Tree of Life Green (if it is darker)
Blue - Eeyore's Blues
Purple - Figment Purple

I agree, making the middle of the label where the word Crayon or where the color name would go would look cute if it were a slighly different shade of each color and shaped like a mickey head.

How about Cinderella Blue with a clip art of Cinderella before or after the name. It could be Baloo Blue with Baloo or Genie blue with Genie. I'm sure you could find characters to go with your colors. It sounds fun.
