How can this be? 35 Days to Disney?? Sept PTR

UGH!! I had a memory maker share I was setting up when I had 3 families committed and of course as soon as I buy it, two backed out. Still saved me a little money but I would have just joined a share myself if I knew others were going to back out. I am curious if it is refundable. I should call tomorrow. Or just suck it up... more likely that is what I will do...

That sucks!! I'm sorry. I think it's awful. Once you commit - that's it, you are committed. It's just wrong of them to back out like that.

I hope you are able to get a refund!

The two families are siblings... the brother didn't feel like they should both have to pay for part of the share. I messaged the sister and told her I was upset because they had committed and it was wrong to back out. She messaged back that she would pay her part. I didn't think she would but I literally just got a message that she deposited money into my paypal. At least she is honoring her commitment. Half of the mm is paid for. I am ok with that.

I made it through my last Friday night before vacation. LOL Now just one more Saturday...

I got all of our bags packed and made my last minute list. I have one full sized suitcase that will go basically empty to bring home treasures!! Tomorrow is clean out the car day because even though we are flying we have an hour and half drive to the airport and DH is bringing his Mom for them to go out shopping afterwards.

Getting so close...I can just about taste the Mickey Ice Cream Pop!

I was going to pack this weekend but it turned out to be really busy! I am worried about not having enough room myself! I really have to start packing so I can assess my space. I have several people who would like me to bring back some stuff for them and I have my stuff too!

SOOOOO CLOSE!!! Work is going to be very hard this week!!

Day 10

We will be starting our morning at Hollywood and Vine AS LONG as DS has gotten to do Jedi Training Academy already. If not I will cancel so we can get there. We have an 8:35 reservation with an 9 park opening. We may be able to make it to the signups by 9:45 or so, but I can't risk it. This is the one thing he must do every trip.

So, assuming he has gotten his Jedi Training in we will dine with Disney Jr. favorites.
Followed by Star tours and Toys Story Mania. We don't have any other FP scheduled for the day and our plans are to go back for a swim, nap and a little pre-packing.

We have dinner with Pooh and then nothing else 'scheduled'. We will be starting to wind down the trip and purchasing our souvenirs to bring home. Maybe a trip to Disney Springs for the evening? We usually start our trips there but maybe we can go there twice in one trip? Stay late for fireworks? We definitely have to see the Electrical Parade so if we haven't seen it yet this is the time.

Back to the resort for the rest of the packing. I like to wake up on departure day and just take our bags to airline check. If I have to pack it makes me sadder...

Day 11

Final Day....Luckily we won't have to get to the Tragical Express until 4 almost 5 so we have a whole day to explore!

We will drop our bags off at airline check in and head right to Ohana. This may be our second breakfast here, but DS would eat here every day if he could. We will monorail over to Epcot for our Test Track FP and pick up last minute snacks at WS. We may head over to another park since we have all day but not sure now.

We will not be home until almost 11, but Hubby will be there ready to grab our bags and cart us home. To wake up in the morning and not have mickey waffles but work and school. Home stinks after 11 days in Disney...

Thank you!! I am starting to get super excited. I had a big event at my son's school today that I was in charge of so now that that is over I am READY!!!

Bags are just about 100%. Hubby has asked me to have everything but carryon bags ready for him tomorrow afternoon. We will be leaving super early Thursday morning and he doesn't want to worry about packing the car and leaving something behind.

Have the final checklist made... agenda for tomorrow is a stop at the school to drop off the last minute notes/paperwork for while I am gone. Work a short shift which will feel like an eternity... Pampered Chef party and then hopefully get a few hours of sleep...
