Wow your trip is SOOOOO close!

Love your top 6 lists! I love Maelstrom too, it's so much fun! And I definitely need to try one of those carrot cake cookies!

I can't wait to go shopping for all of our travel supplies, it's one of the things that really lets me know the trip is close, I usually start doing it when we're under a month!

I know!! I can't believe how soon it's coming up! Glad to know I have a Maelstrom kindred spirit, haha.

I've already had multiple Target trips and I still have 8 days to go. I'm getting excited with you!!!

I'm with ya on the Soarin thing. I will never understand why there is always a 60+ minute wait or why it runs out of FPs so quickly. It's a relaxing ride, true, but it's just a simulator! I don't get the hype about Fantasmic either.

I also loooooove Pizza Planet. But prefer Dole Whip FLOATS. Pineapple juice is yummy.

Can't wait to read all about your trip!! So excited for you!

I can take or leave Fantasmic, too. Not worth the effort it takes to see it-- getting there so early, etc.
I do love pineapple juice, so I don't know why I have an aversion to the floats!

Oh, Day 7. Always full of “we must do this and this one last time.” Unfortunately, with the way our schedules worked out, this will also be our first morning at Epcot! Last trip, we we worked in two mornings, which was awesome. We do have three ADRs here, so we'll obviously we there a lot, but I feel like we'll be trying to cram in all of our FW favorites on Day 7. Our Epcot days begin slightly different than a lot of DISer's. We do not join the hoards on the way to Soarin—nope, we veer to the left and head straight for Zach's all-time favorite attraction, Test Track! If we have time, maybe we'll FP Soain, but honestly, we'd rather ride TT multiple times.

After TT, we'll stop by MS (Zach prefers the green side). I love both the Seas (although I can take or leave “Nemo and Friends”) and the Universe of Energy, so we'll be sure to get to those. Easywdw.co rates this day a 2 out of 10 for crowds. I hope he's right and we'll be able to get to a lot. I like the history of a revived ride, so I hope we have time for Captain E.O. Figment will be fun to try, too, and Spaceship Earth is an absolute MUST I'm hoping we will have already ridden Maelstrom when we have dinner in the WS, but I'm sure we'll ride it again!
Lunch will either be at Sunshine Seasons or Lotus Blossom (Zach) and La Cantina (me). I'd love to do the latter, but it's tough getting food from two different places and then finding a place to eat together. La Cantina just looks so good!
If I haven't already, I'll pick a pearl to put in my new Cinderella coach cage! This was a super fun experience I look forward to repeating.

I'm sure we'll have done lots of WS exploring on our ADR nights, so we'll aim to leave Epcot by 4:00. Instead of our usual break, we'll be trudging to the front of the park to hope on the monorail to the TTC. I booked us an early ADR (5:30-- super early for us!) on purpose so we can recharge and enjoy the MK until it closes at 9:00. Since we aren't going back to the room, I wanted an outfit that was cute for dinner but still comfortable enough to wear all day.

I know a lot of people may be thinking eeek, black in Florida in August! The material is very breathable, though, no worries!
Dinner will be at Liberty Tree Tavern. I love homey food like this, so hopefully it won't disappoint! When we're pleasantly stuffed and relaxed after a nice AC break, we'll venture into the rest of the MK. I don't think of this as really a “rides” night-- although I do want to get in a ride on Space and BTMRR! I think we'll end up strolling around, soaking in the magic. If our last trip proves as an indicator, I'll pretty much be a mess!

I won't do a separate post for our last day, since it'll just be sad and really boring. Our flight is at 2:00 p.m., so I'm assuming our ME will be around 11:00ish. I'm assuming we'll wake up around 9:00, quickly pack, and bring our bags to the resort check in desk. Last time we had some issues with this. Zach was pulled aside as a person who needed to check in and give his bag at the airport. I had already paid for our bags, but they assured me that it wouldn't be a problem. Of course, when we got to the Delta desk, they had no record of me paying for the bag and made me pay again. So frustrating! Let's hope for smooth sailing this time-- there have been reports that you can now pay at the resort desk and not over the phone, which I would MUCH prefer!

She Drives Me Crazy, Muppets version: Now, I know the Muppets aren't a Disney original, but since they are Disney-ACQUIRED and featured in the parks, I thought it appropriate to include them! This is a Miss Piggy and Kermit rendition of the Fine Young Cannnibals 80's hit. If that isn't weird enough, Paul Reiser, David Hasselholf, and a bunch of other 90's stars make a guest appearance. This is the official video-- the song on my iPod is just Piggy and Kermit singing, but this is pretttttty entertaining, haha.

So, today, we're making our final Target run to pick up our last couple of things! Beyond that, today will be pretty low-key. I have to pack!

I've never done pick a pearl but I've read about it on plenty of TRs. You can get the cinderella coach necklace off ebay right? I may have to try that on my next trip...

Yes-- I sent my brother the link for the coach cage on Ebay to buy for my birthday. I think it was like $3! Mine came with a chain, too (some only come with the pendant, I've heard).

Good morning, everyone! So, I basically finished packing last night. All I really need to add is my hair straightener and random items like my license and Disney Visa.
I went into mini-panic mode yesterday when I tried on two of my tops yesterday for the first time (my bad...). Unfortunately, both the flowered top I was planning on wearing to AK and the blue top I wanted to wear to the MK are both too big. I was able to shorten the straps of the blue top, making it look slightly better, but not really. Both of these tops were really cheap, so I'm not too mad (I'll probably hock them at the second-hand clothing store that's right next to my office), but of course I figured I had NOTHING ELSE TO WEAR! This was solved by a trip to the mall, where I panicked during the entire car ride that I was only going to be able to find fall clothes. Fortunately, I found two tank tops (that I actually tried on). They're the same style-- one's coral and one's blue. They were only $9 each AND I can totally wear them under cardigans to work! I packed them away before I could take pictures, but you will see them in my TR!

Please excuse the poor picture (took it on my phone), but this is my trip binder!

Like many of you, I like to keep myself organized both before and during our trip. It holds a lot of our important documents, so I pack it in our carry-on and refer it to often during our trip.
It holds:
- ME booklet
- Booklet they send you before your trip with arcade points, etc.
- For this trip, hotel confirmation for Royal Pacific and US/IOA tickets
- All of our ADR's and confirmation numbers
- Park hours
- Flight info
- List of snacks available on the DDP!
- Daily index cards (park hours for each park we plan to visit that day, ADR time/confirmation number, and a festive Disney sticker)
- Packing inventory, with a list of what I plan to wear each day
- List of CS locations/basic menus
- Crowd calender
- Sheet protector to hold all receipts (I decided to track how much the DDP saves us if we had paid for it/in general)
- Disney trivia sheets for playing on the plane

Later today, I'm getting a mani/pedi-- gotta have nice fingers/toes for Mickey!

Thanks for all of the well wishes!! Despite a somewhat rocky start, our trip was absolutely wonderful. I can't believe it's now just a memory...
I'm super excited to start my TR and share our adventures with everyone! I should be able to start it this weekend and will definitely post a link here when I do!!
