During the week, I usually walk/jog on the treadmill for 30 minutes. I never have a problem with that. However, on the weekends, I like to go rollerblading. However, as it's getting hotter, I'll find that after I finish, I feel awful for the rest of the day. The worst experience I've ever had was the day that I probably over-depleted my electrolyte supply. For the rest of the day, I was swollen all over, my head felt disconnected from my body, and I felt slightly nauseated. I was smarter this morning and only went 45 minutes (6 miles) instead of my usual hour. I drank about 10 oz of Gatorade before exercising, drank all 2 L of water from my Camelback while skating, and then drank a Propel and a 20 oz Gatorade afterwards. I felt better today than I usually do, but I'm still feeling drained and a bit headachy. I'd love to go the full hour, but it's just not worth feeling horrible for the rest of the day. I do live in Florida, so it's probably in the low to mid eighties with humidity around 70% when I'm outside skating. And that's at 9, 10 AM. I'm seriously getting ready to just put the rollerblades away until October and pull out my ice skates instead
At least I'm guaranteed air conditioning in the rink.
