I don't know who is more excited the kids (DD-7, DS#1-5, and DS#2-1), DW or me. We leave in 3 days to arrive at our first trip together at the Fort on Monday for 15 days of fun in the sun. With the heat wave we are in this week (101 today) it seems like we are being teased by the Disney gods as to what we can expect.

We have all our ressies made dining, golf cart, and bday cake (for DS#2 who turns 2 while we are there), truck and TT were just serviced. All we have left to do besides pack is some grocery shopping and banking before we leave.

With it being a 17-18 trip we plan on doing it over 2 days leaving at 8 or 9 at night on Saturday and playing our stopping point by ear depending on how we feel with our goal to make at least GA so we have a 4-5 hour drive on Monday.

I am really looking foward to meeting and sharing a beer with some of my fellow Fort Fiends while down there. I will have my green ears and clothesline hung from the trees, but I am still trying to convince my wife to let me hang some green thongs.

See ya at the Fort in a little less that 5 days.

I think it was Einstein who found that if you run in clockwise circles very, very fast while blinking your eyes rapidly, when you get finished you're actually five minutes into the future.

...but if you choose to wait for traditional time to pass, hope you have a great time at the Fort!

Speed up time ?

A DeLorean and a good flux capacitor would help, :thumbsup2

I can't help time move faster, but I will wish you a safe trip to the Fort, and a great time while you are there! Don't forget the camera!

Superman flew around the earth in a counter clockwise motion to reverse time...so perhaps if you flew around the earth in a clockwise motion time would speed up!? :confused3

Don't speed it up too much though, I still have a lot to do getting ready for OUR trip!

Have a great trip, and wave as you pass through Georgia!

Yes, do wave...we're just on the other side of the state line. :goodvibes

I have found that as I get older, time passes much faster.

Don't worry as soon as you get to the fort time will start flying..... Oh you mean before you get there.... sorry can't help. Have a wonderful trip.

Ditto:
now heres what I can't figure out,
if time gets faster the older I get, does that mean the rest of the world me has gottn real fast ?
Or does that mean that the rest of the world around has gottn slower so time for me seems fast ?

Man, now I'm confused.
I dont like gettn older.

Now that we have finally made it, even with a blow out on the TT in Georgia. Time can slow down!

BTW, we are in site 228, stop by if you are so inclined.

Wow! Blow outs are pretty common around here lately! I'm glad to hear that you made it safely. Have a wonderful time and let us know when you leave so that we can speed up time again. September is still so far away...
