How can I persuade my mum to come with us to Disneyland Paris for Christmas?

My mum has knee arthritis/osteoporosis and her main worry is the pain she's going to have to put up with walking around the park all of the time. My sister and I want to take her over Christmas so badly but she is worried the cold and the walking will only make it a bad holiday for her.
I've told her we aren't going to rush about and will take the time to sit down and soak in the atmosphere whenever needed but she doesn't believe me.
She's all "I've been to Florida and California in the 80s, I've already been" as well.
HOW CAN I PERSUADE HER? I don't want to induce pain on her at all if that's what this post sounds like, but my sister and I just really want us to go as a family, probably the first and last time we will ever do this, and she's just ever so stubborn to the idea.
We honestly would sit down whenever needed and not make it a rush to do everything like it would be if it was just my sister and I.
Hmm help please :)

Not sure how it would be received by her but you can hire wheelchairs for use in the park for people with reduced mobility

OP I'm going to be honest here - if the cold exaggerates her arthritis and osteoporosis, Christmas at DLP is not the place for a family holiday for you guys. Even if you do take it at her pace the whole time, she's still going to feel the cold, which in turn could make her feel unwell and in pain.

Can you not plan a trip to DLP in warmer weather for you all as a family?

I must say I agree with Elaine, sitting around and soaking up the atmosphere is fine in the good weather but it is likely to be bitterly cold at Christmas time and it could be quite unbearable to do then.

My DH has osteo-arthritis and cannot manage a whole day in the park so we find what works best for us is for the three of us to go round the park together in the mornings and then he returns to the hotel after lunch. He is quite happy to rest while DS and I spend the rest of the day and evening together in the park. He doesn't feel the cold overly though, even in the winter, and we choose warm rides where he can sit down.

I'll add my two cents here;

We took an elderly family friend to DLP last November/December time for Christmas, it was very cold by this point already.

He suffers from arthritis, quite badly in his legs, and we used a wheelchair and blankets to keep him warm, however towards the last few days we dropped him in the Disneyland hotel bar for the mornings and early afternoon (which he loved, anyway!).. as he really did find the cold a bit too much for such long days.

Obviously a few differences with your mum and the fact she walks too.
