How can I personalize...

I have found so many designs that I just love on this board. I would like to use some that are blank and just personalize them myself. I am not very computer smart and I can't figure out how to do this. Do I need a special program to do this? Any help is very much appreciated.

When I first started DISigning I used a card program I have (you know the kind that you make your own greeting cards with). It had where you could do designs and edits and the like. I actually have since upgraded but I still use that since I know it better (and somethings are just easier to do on it). If you have anything like that you can start there. I know some people have used like paint or MS Word, but I could never get them to do what I wanted. Good luck and becareful, this is addicting

I'm using photoshop 8.0 cs....it's kinda hard to learn but I'm getting better the more I practice...I finally just learned how to do the layering thing....I've made a few DISigns but I have to wait til we get a new printer...transfers...t shirts etc...and yes it gets SO addicting...Good luck...like I said I'm not very good at it but i can try to help....GOOD LUCK!
